Here we go again...

Hey All!
So in case you haven't heard I'm moving to Australia for a year! I fly out of Boston Tuesday morning, which means I'm literally counting the hours down now... 42 in case you were wondering. I'm all packed (well kinda - still trying to squeeze in the last few necessary things) and have the majority of my stuff from my apartment stored away at Mom's apartment house.
What am I doing in Australia for a whole year you ask? Well why don't you click this little link right here: http://www.realgap.com/australia-outback-ranch-training and be sure to check out the "full itinerary" to get a full understanding of what it is I will be doing. Basically I am flying in to Sydney (Logan to JFK, fuel stop in LAX, and then a 15 hour flight to the Oz), staying there for a few days, driving 6 hours northwest of Sydney to Coonabarabran where I will be "trained" on how to work on a ranch. When the training is over I will then be given a job opportunity somewhere in Australia and I will be a ranch-hand/cowgirl/jackaroo. So I don't know where I will end up - any guesses? - and I don't know what I will be doing exactly, it all depends on the type of ranch (well, they call them stations in the Oz). But I will be getting paid and taking weekends/vacations and having sick-days just like I would in a normal job. I technically can't work at one job for longer than 6 months - so says my work visa - so I may find another job when that time comes, possibly check out subbing or science research (however, I'm not sure what kinds of jobs I can or cannot have with this visa), but look for something that is actually related to what I went to school for and plan on doing when I return home next fall.
Hopefully I have internet where ever I end up and will be able to blog and post pictures as much as I was able to when I was in Africa - for those of you that followed my adventures when I was gone last year. There is also a good chance I will have a phone, but I'm going to say that the best way to get in touch with me will be through email (zarahsavoie@gmail.com) or through Skype (zizzlezee14) (don't judge...). When I land and get settled in Australia I will give my address and phone number, if applicable.
With all that being said, I'm going to continue packing and gathering my things and prepare for my 20+ hour flight to Australia! Wahoo! Talk to you when I'm half way around the world!
xoxo Zee
